Step into the glowing world of the Moonlight Gardener and follow him on a magical journey through his beloved garden. As he tends the plants and creatures around him, the garden begins to stir, shimmer and come alive.
Blending modern circus skill, playful mime and cutting-edge sound-to-light technology, this enchanting show for all ages transforms simple acts of care into luminous spectacle. A sprinkle from his watering can makes flowers sparkle and bloom. A playful juggle sends glowing birds into flight as landscapes appear, shift and transform in mid-air…

Modern Circus
The Moonlight Gardeners are masters of modern juggling—sometimes known as Flow Arts. Their performances blend lyrical movement, theatrical storytelling and high-level circus technique with stunning LED effects.
The ‘Moonlight Gardener’ showcases its performers’ abilities in full flow, involving poi spinning, baton work, glass-ball contact juggling, classic toss juggling and dynamic manipulation, all precisely choreographed to music and light.
A show, many years in the making, which illustrates the performers’ extensive experience at their absolute peak.
Innovative Technology
The show uses VisualPoi LED technology, one of the most exciting developments in contemporary performance.
Spinning and thrown props create glowing trails and detailed images in the air, perfectly synchronised with the soundtrack. These luminous animations build entire scenes in mid-air—flowers blooming, birds flying and landscapes unfolding before your eyes.
Years in development, The Moonlight Gardener pushes this technology further than ever before—creating magical moments that leave audiences wondering:

Join the Moonlight Gardener and his glowing watering can on a journey through the four seasons of the garden.
As the night unfolds, the moonlit landscape springs to life. Owls glide overhead. Bees buzz through glowing flowers. Garden doves appear in flight. Thunderstorms roll across the sky before snowdrifts settle softly on the ground.
Giant flowers bloom. The full moon rises and visits upon the garden in the form of floating glass orbs. And the adventure ends with a breathtaking flight through cosmic nature-scapes.
Yet throughout the journey, quiet reports from the gardener’s radio hint that all may not be entirely well with the natural world —reminding us of the fragile beauty of the planet we share. And causing our gardening friend to reflect on how best to apply his creativity for good.

The Moonlight Gardener is the latest creation from juggler Jago Parfitt, developed with the exceptional talents of Dimitri Ogden and Paul Warren.
Together they also perform in Calvos Contact Jugglers, Halo Glow Show and FlameOz Fire Show, bringing each over 20 years of performance experience across the UK and internationally.
The show has been developed over four years and featured in seven-week runs at RHS Garden Bridgewater’s “Glow” light trail in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025—performing around 250 shows each year to delighted audiences.
