Welcome to the delightful, illuminated world of the Moonlight Gardener – a show like no other.
Glittering snowscapes, will-o-the-wisp light dances, enchanting garden animals, lush rain-soaked flower beds, cool, colourful insects and gorgeous autumnal woodland – stunning luminous scenes appear and magically transform before our eyes.
Combining dexterous modern circus with innovative sound-to-light technology, the Moonlight Gardener is an original and lovingly-crafted mini light show celebrating the joy and wonder of the natural world.

Modern Circus
Our Moonlight Gardeners are long-time devotees in the art of ‘modern juggling’ which encompasses poi and baton spinning, contact (glass ball) juggling, traditional ‘toss’ juggling and other forms of ‘dynamic manipulation’, sometimes referred to as Flow Arts. We love combining the magic of these techniques with LED special effects and the Moon Garden character and setting is a wonderful vehicle to showcase these delightful skills that we have spent many years perfecting.
Innovative Technology
The Moonlight Gardener show uses modern computer-chip controlled wireless LED technology which has hugely come of age in recent years. The show programming is prepared in detail and precisely matched to a dedicated soundtrack enabling beautiful special effects and light-choreographies. VisualPoi LED technology allows the trails produced in the air by thrown and spun props to create pictures and the Moon Garden story is told partly through these images. The effect is a kaleidoscopic feast for the eyes and we are very excited to be pushing the boundaries this wonderful technology and sharing the joy of it with you.
Show 1 – The Four Seasons
Join the Moonlight Gardener and his light-filled watering can on a journey through all 4 gardening seasons – encountering owls, bees and garden doves, a thunder storm and snowdrifts, rapidly growing giant flowers and a beautiful full-phase moon. Culminating in a winter flight of fancy through planetary naturescapes. And all this in just one night! (it must be Britain)

Show 2 – The Juggling Show
A further journey into the delights of the Moon Garden discovering juggling birds, levitating glass orbs and even more stunning special effects. Avatar meets Titchmarsh meets Bowie meets Gandalf in this beautiful tour of modern juggling technique mixed with LED-technology-fused physical theatre. Fantastic follow-up show for a ‘year 2 booking’.

The Moonlight Gardener has been developed over the last 3 years and has featured in annual 7 week runs (2022, 2023, 2024) at RHS Garden Bridgewater’s ‘Glow’ light trail having been performed roughly 120 times each year.
